Journalism Crash Course

Let’s investigate, write, and interview about topics impacting us.There will be three sessions on Wednesday evenings (1st, 8th, and 15th of April), each in a different location in Wageningen. A guest facilitator will lead each session on a specific skill or theme. It is recommended that you follow the whole crash course.
The sessions are hands-on → that means you’ll work on a specific project. You can bring your own idea or select one from a list we have created.

Freedom Tours: feminist edition

In collaboration with Freedom Tours Wageningen we have created a feminist edition focused on Wageningens architecture. In an interactive guided tour we will ask: Who has access to freedom, and who doesnt?
- In public space? In relationships? In society? This is followed by a hands on creative workshop. Our imagination will take the lead as we collectively dream, discuss, and visualise what a city designed by a feminist approach would look and feel like. Curious, creative, and open minds welcome.

Bodies of Art


This workshop, facilitated by Dafni Petratou, explored questions such as:
- How does a vulva look like?
- What are the names of its parts?
- Where does the sexual response mechanism manifest?
- How are (not) male and female systems different?
There was a focus on shapes and structures of human anatomy and challenging our perceptions about the human body.

Living Alongside - the exhibition

This workshop series was a collaboration with the beautiful Wageningen artist Mary Webster. 
“Living Alongside” is a hands-on art and research project blending deep mapping, creative expression, and environmental citizenship. It all wraps up with a traveling exhibition—a mix of personal projects that celebrate the weird, wonderful ways we connect to places. We celebrated the end of this creative journey through an exhibition in Aurora corner. Make sure that you go in time to see it!

A feminist approach to masculinity


Everyone has preconceived notions and beliefs about masculinity and femininity. We have picked them up simply by growing up in a certain environment with Often, people may find the concepts of masculinity and femininity difficult, or uncomfortable to talk about. Let’s come out and say that they do not have to be. Masculinity and femininity are not predefined – they are what we make of them! Join us for this event and let’s explore the concepts of masculinity and femininity together.

For this event we will come together to be curious about our own beliefs and behaviours, and to reflect on our preconceived notions. What does it mean to be masculine? How do we openly address and celebrate our identities? How can we become better at recognising toxic behaviour? Questions like these (and many more) will be explored through discussion, creative expression and playful activities.

ARTitecture WAG


This workshop is inviting inhabitants of Wageningen to visualize and negotiate their ideal living environment. Using the Wageningen city plan as our playing field, participants crafted and described their needs and dreams.

We're planning to offer a continuation to this project.



Shapeshifting-a multispecies creative series


The Jester and OtherWise are coming together for this four-part series! we will explore multispecies worlds through creative writing, art, map-making and more. in the month of March, every Tuesday-evening we are inviting you to explore a new perspective on your connection with the world around you

Through mapping and writing, talking, walking, being silent and loud we will explore our own beingness and those of others. We will brush through various ecological timelines and create our own rituals. We will explore art-based forms of dismantling hegemonic discourses, more-than-human worldmaking and deepening our relationship with and as part of the natural world.

We invite you to shed our human skin to connect with the more-than-human, allow the edges of our being to become porous, imagine new worlds.

Capita Selecta  on Intersectional Feminism


This is a great chance to dive into topics or discussions like gender, sex, identities, decolonization, spirituality, queer ecologies & consent cultures in a safe space. It is the right place to learn and un-learn theories, concepts and practices.

It doesn't matter if you consider yourself a feminist warrior or you don't even distinguish between patriarchy and patriot. This course is open to everyone with an open and curious mind. It doesn't matter your background, we are here to learn together. Sign up (QR) for the whole course (you can get 2ECTS credits!) or just for a single session (or all the sessions you like!). Remember, you don't need to be a student. Bring your friends, neighbours & even your enemies.

Creative expression workshops


These workshops have the aim of bringing people together, warming up their creative muscles, and throwing them out of their comfort zones in the MORE comfortable zone of creating. Come and explore this question through poetry, collage, and drawing. And each workshop has a topic, which are:
